Honorary Maverick Program
The Honorary Maverick Program was created to allow future Mavericks to have an experience we wish we could have had while in grades K-5. What is that experience?....to be able to hang out with the high school basketball team. Every home game 2 lucky future Mavericks are chosen as the Honorary Mavericks.
What is an Honorary Maverick? An Honorary Maverick is a boy in either grades K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th that for one night is our ball boy. They are introduced before the game starts, they sit on the bench and after the game they come into the locker room for a picture with the team. They also receive a t-shirt and something signed by the team.
